Safety is of paramount importance when working with people post mastectomy surgery with compromised immune systems so using pharmaceutical grade pigments seemed like the safest option to move forward with hence my pigments of choice are the Coloressense Permanent Pigments by Goldeneye Micropigmentation.
New legislation has been implemented in Europe in 2022 (REACH) and the UK is likely to follow in the next few years. This new legislation has banned over 4000 ingredients in tattoo inks and pigments. Goldeneye was the first manufacturer to be fully REACH compliant.

NARROW BAND DISPERSION
Our pure Coloressense pigments are designed to fade evenly over time. Every raw material is custom sized to the color’s specific requirements. The size of our pigments ranges from 0.5 μm to 5.0 μm. As a result, our pmu pigments are fully absorbed by skin, have an extraordinarily high color density and show almost no discoloration over time.
ADVANCED SKIN SEALING
Our Coloressense permanent makeup pigments have an excellent pore sealing effect. This technology optimally seals punctures and prevents color blow out. As a result, the colour pigment remains beneath the surface of the skin right from the start.
HIGH PERFORMANCE PIGMENTS
Our Coloressense pigments are exclusively made of pure, high performance pigments from leading European pigment manufacturers that meet every safety requirement from the very beginning. Our pigments are extremely lightfast, bright and astonishingly saturated.
FREE OF IRON OXIDE
Avoiding iron oxide altogether greatly increases the pigment’s stability in the skin with no discoloration over time and even reduces the risk of allergic reactions.
MRI PROOF
All of our permanent makeup pigments are not magnetic and therefore pose no risk during magnetic resonance imaging (MRI).
VEGAN
Every Coloressense pigment is completely vegan and does not contain any animal product.
FREE OF AZO PIGMENTS
We do not use any azo pigments in accordance to the EU Resolution ResAP(2008)1 during manufacturing. Our pigments cannot release carcinogenic aromatic amines and every batch is tested for impurities that might occur during manufacturing or shipping.
HEAVY METALS TESTED
Every batch of our pigments is tested for heavy metals and we make sure these fall under the limits as set our in REACH. The risk of an allergic reaction is therefor greatly reduced.
FREE OF NDELA
NDELA is identified as a toxic product in several pmu and tattoo inks by the Swiss authorities, which set a limit of 35 ppm. We consistently test our pigments for NDELA in accordance to these Swiss standards.
FREE OF PAH
Poly-cyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (PAH) are carcinogenic and are prohibited in micropigmentation color pigments. All our pigments are guaranteed 100% free of PAH!
FREE OF PRESERVATIVES
To avoid allergic reactions, which are becoming more common, we have no preservatives in our pigments at all.
STERILE
Our permanent makeup pigments are vacuum mixed and dispersed to avoid contamination. In addition, the Coloressense pigments are Gamma sterilized
QUALITY TESTED RAW MATERIALS
We exclusively use the very best high-quality, tested raw materials and consistently conduct additional testing by independent laboratories in accordance with our resource management.
